Sparkle deleted my files without auhtorization

I lost a complete folder with subfolders in my Downloads. About 8-10 files pdf mainly, I was working on last Oct 23rd, and with today’s run (Oct 24th) they were deleted. In the summary of the movement it says it moves to Manual Library but are not there. Very frustrating experience, lot of work lost!
